Terms and Conditions for Girl.Copy
Welcome to Girl.Copy! By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our services, so please read them carefully. If you have any questions, contact us at admin@girlcopy.org
Services Provided
Girl.Copy specializes in professional writing services, including but not limited to:
Resume writing
Cover letter creation
LinkedIn profile optimization
Career-focused content development
Custom writing services (e.g., blogs, website copy)
Payment Policy
Career Services (Resume Writing, Cover Letters, LinkedIn Profiles, etc.):
Full payment is required upfront for all career services. No exceptions. Work will not begin until payment is received.
Other Services (e.g., Blog Writing, Website Copy, etc.):
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your project. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion and before final deliverables are provided.
For projects exceeding $1,000, installment options may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Methods:
We accept [Zelle, all major credit cards, Venmo, ShopPay, PayPal, etc.]. All payments must be made in USD.
Late Payments:
Failure to make payments on time may result in project delays or termination of services. Final deliverables will not be released until all payments are made in full.
Refund Policy
Career Services: Due to the highly customized nature of our work, all payments for resume writing, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles are non-refundable.
Other Services: Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds for remaining balances may be considered on a case-by-case basis if a project is canceled before completion, at Girl.Copy’s sole discretion.
Revisions
Each service includes up to two rounds of revisions, provided the revision requests are submitted within 14 days of final delivery.
Revision requests beyond the original scope of work or after the 14-day period may incur additional charges.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful project completion, clients agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and materials.
Respond to feedback and approval requests promptly to avoid delays.
Review deliverables carefully and provide clear revision requests when needed.
Girl.Copy is not liable for delays caused by incomplete or untimely client responses.
Turnaround Times
Turnaround times are discussed and agreed upon before the project begins. While we strive to meet all deadlines, unexpected delays may occur. In such cases, we will communicate any changes promptly.
Intellectual Property
Ownership: Upon full payment, final deliverables become the property of the client. Girl.Copy retains the right to use non-identifiable work samples for portfolio or marketing purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.
Copyright: Clients may not resell, reproduce, or distribute our work without prior written consent.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information with the highest level of confidentiality. Personal details, project specifics, and materials will never be shared with third parties unless required by law or with the client’s explicit consent.
Limitation of Liability
Girl.Copy is not responsible for:
Outcomes related to the use of our deliverables (e.g., job application rejections or LinkedIn performance).
Errors arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
Our services are tools to support your goals, but we cannot guarantee specific results.
Termination of Services
Girl.Copy reserves the right to terminate services if:
A client violates these Terms and Conditions.
Payment is not received as agreed.
Unprofessional or abusive behavior is exhibited toward our team.
In such cases, payments already made are non-refundable.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portland, Oregon.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Girl.Copy may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
