We are cool and interesting. Being a woman-owned, copywriting-and-resume-writing business, Girl.Copy treats even your most boring bulletpoints like a New York Times feature. We do not have Times writers on staff (yet), but we will research, develop, brainstorm, and execute your job materials creation with the tenacity, joy, and pragmatism of a burly, cigar-smoking writer/editor that rants about deadlines and will probably have a heart attack sooner rather than later.
Experience. Anna has been a paid writer since the third grade, when her short story, The Wolf and I, won her $300 as part of her local library’s writing contest for kids. She's pretty sure those three hundred clammers went to jewelry at Claire’s, but nevertheless, little Anna knew then and there that she was destined to be a writer. From there, Anna was a [stipend-paid] writer and editor of her college newspaper, literary arts magazine, and student magazine. She worked as the social media maven for many clients, ranging from painting contractors to makeup inventors to boutique gyms owners, and has written thousands of blog posts and website copy for companies in the ecommerce, health, fashion/beauty, pharmaceutical, and technical sectors, to name a few. She’s worked in the resume writing biz for seven glorious years now, and her clients have found work at amazing companies like CNN, Planned Parenthood, and EY, to name but a few.
Quality. Our team enjoys the finer things in life, whether it’s a fancy hotel room, a delicious steak, or buying our pets those $2 cans of organic food. We understand the value of hard work and that without it, nothing, including getting to do what we love to do (i.e., write!), would be possible. That is why Girl.Copy is 1000% committed to our clients.
How does Girl.Copy determine rates?
We are not the cheapest or the most expensive writers out there. Our team members come from top universities and have accumulated over 20 years of collective experience.
How are payments accepted and what are next steps?
Payments are accepted via PayPal, Venmo, Chase QuickPay, or via our Shop. Sorry - we no longer take checks. ALL resumes, career coaching services, cover letters, LinkedIn rewrites, and bio writing MUST be purchased via the Girl.Copy shop. Our next steps would be to set up a phone call or Google Meet to discuss your project and your needs, so the Girl.Copy team can accurately provide you with context and information (we can also set terms via email, if you're like us and would rather have everything in writing).
