It all started with a woman, not a girl.
But all of us older folks remember that old adage, “_____ like a girl,” right?
Well, that saying certainly made an impact on our Managing Director, Anna Giles, when she was growing up. It also seemed like was often used negatively - but Anna loved being a girl. Why was it seen as a negative?
So, when she started her first business in 2015 - a small freelance copywriting company - she really wanted her tagline to be, “Write like a girl” (it was all about branding in 2015, you see). Because being a girl meant strength. It meant positivity. It meant intellect. It still does and always will.
Thus, Girl.Copy was born!
While our business name has been the subject of debate (yes - we work with ALL genders!), one thing’s for certain - we’re good at what we do, whether it’s writing a resume that’s going to get our clients 5 interviews in one week (yep, that’s happened), a killer website for a restaurant with an integrated, customized ordering system, or working with enterprise-level, billion-dollar companies and their stakeholders, we’re going to get the job done right. Write like a girl.
